PROBUS Club of Oshawa SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS (as of January 2025)
Special interest groups are groups within the PROBUS Club of Oshawa that provide members opportunities to participate in various activities throughout the year. The groups are for members only and are coordinated by volunteer members of the Club (convenors).
The groups vary in size, depending on the activity and meeting location. Some meet throughout the year, while others are seasonal in nature. If a group can no longer accept members due to limited meeting space, a new group can be started.
If you have a particular hobby and interest and would like to share this interest with other Club members, email oshawaprobusclub@gmail.com and your request will be forwarded to the appropriate Special Interest Group Coordinator.
The information below provides a general description of the PROBUS Club of Oshawa’s special interest groups. More specific information about meeting dates, locations, etc. are available in the PROBUS Club of Oshawa’s monthly newsletter. If you wish to sign up for any group, please contact the group convenor or Special Interest Group Coordinator.

Lunch Group
What a fun time we had at our September Ladies Lunch.
One Eyed Jacks did a fabulous job of serving 24 of us. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and once again we filled the restaurant with much laughter and conversation. Everyone appeared to have a great time.
We had two birthday girls, Elfrida and Leanne. They were treated to a delicious desert courtesy of One Eyed Jacks.
We hope you will join us for our October lunch. We will let you know where it will be soon.
