The goal of the PROBUS Club of Oshawa is to provide Fellowship, Friendship, and Fun for all men and women in their retirement and semi-retirement years.
We are a volunteer-based, non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian fellowship organization that is all about encouraging healthy minds and bodies and socializing with other retirees in the community.

Our club meets monthly on every 2nd Tuesday of the month at the General Sikorski Hall at 10.00 am.

Starting September 8, 2026, we’re excited to welcome our PROBUS Club of Oshawa members to the new home of our monthly General Meetings,

We’re very excited about this move to a larger and more comfortable space. There will be plenty of room for everyone to move around, catch up with friends and enjoy our meetings in a more relaxed setting. Even better, the additional space will allow us to grow our membership and welcome new members to our PROBUS family.

A Little History About General Sikorski Hall
General Sikorski Hall has a rich history within the local Polish-Canadian community. The General Sikorski Hall was officially opened on November 9, 1968, and has served as the headquarters of the Polish Veteran's Association, as well as a popular banquet hall for community events.
During the Oshawa community annual Fiesta celebrations, the hall became the Krakow Pavilion, where guests could enjoy traditional food, entertainment and shows throughout the week.
The organization also has a proud history of supporting the community during World War II, hosting commemorative events and fundraising initiatives.
We’re thrilled to begin this new chapter for the PROBUS Club of Oshawa at General Sikorski Hall and look forward to seeing everyone there on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, for our first meeting in our new home, and, for our Annual General Meeting (AGM). We have a lot of fun things planned, so be sure to mark this date on your calendar.
