Dr. Sharon Cohen, Neurologist and Medical Director of the Toronto Memory
Programme presented an overview of Alzheimer’s disease, including a brief
overview of the condition, its prevalence, and key lifestyle factors that may
influence risk. She discussed current treatment approaches, strategies for
prevention, and emerging developments in the field, including new
treatments and biomarker testing, bringing the eventual hope of early
detection and prevention.
